"Our mission is to actively encourage volunteering and be the focal point of contact for connecting local people to volunteering opportunities that will enhance their quality of life and help develop community cohesion" OUR CORE FUNCTION Market Volunteering We vigorously promote the benefits of volunteering to all our diverse communities. Brokerage Service Matching volunteers to available opportunities by ensuring that the agreements are 'hassle free'. Good Practice Volunteering We run 'Good Practice' seasons and give guidance and advice to volunteer involving organisations on volunteer management issues, polices that they should have, and other relevant issues on the volunteering opportunities. We actively encourage our local voluntary community and stationary organisations to create volunteering opportunities. |
