LONDON AMBASSADORS
In 2012 London will welcome the world to the Olympic and Paralympic Games. It's a once in a lifetime event and millions of people will be visiting London, many for the very first time. As a proud host city we want to make sure that every single one of them has the best possible experience.
We know that what visitors really value is the chance to enjoy the real London - not just the famous landmarks, but also the hidden gems and local favourites that Londoners know best.
Which is where you come in...
We are looking to sign up a team of London Ambassadors - 8,000 proud Londoners who know the real London and are happy to share it with the world. Were looking for people from right across the capital, from all sorts of backgrounds and with a wide range of skills, experience and talent.
We're particularly keen to encourage people who have never thought about volunteering before to give it a try. We will give you the training you need, provide you with free travel in zones 1-6 and food and drink vouchers as well as a signed certificate to commemorate your part in helping London welcome the world.
As long as you're great with people, have a real enthusiasm for London and can give this the time that it will need, we'd love to hear from you.
